This is a gentle and respectful massage that is suitable for everyone, including the elderly, children, couples, pregnant women and the disabled.
During this two-day (for therapists) or three-day (for newcomers) Introductory Workshop, you learn the beautiful, long and fluid moves that allow you to massage with great gentleness. Although the technique itself is important, it comes second to creating a spiritual space. Even from the very first day, you will be performing each move with your entire soul, totally in tune with the receiver.
Each day of the workshop, you each observe, give and receive a series of moves.
On the first day, you learn how to massage the face and the head, the front of the legs and the arms.
On the second day, you learn how to massage the belly and torso, the back of the legs and the back.
During the three-day workshop for newcomers, we will review all the moves and you will observe a full-body massage being given. If the person receiving the massage agrees to it, you can film the entire session so that you can later review on your own. We will then have a question period. In the afternoon, each participant gives and receives a full-body massage.
We ask that you bring along sheets to cover you. It is not necessary to remove underwear during the massage.
Whether you are a professional massage therapist or orthotherapist, whether you often give or receive massages or even if you have never given or received one, you will find this workshop inspiring and you will feel enriched when you leave.
Several students have felt able to add this massage to their repertoire immediately! Others who had not used this massage for weeks or months found that after a single practice session, the moves flowed naturally. This is what happens when we give ourselves permission to let go of the technique and flow with our intuition...
